Microsoft Dynamics 365 Spring 2018 Release

In addition to its previous applications, like Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Finance and Operations (AX), the update provides applications for Customer Engagement, Sales, Service, Field Service, Project, Talent, Finance and Operations, Business Central, Retail, Marketing, CDS, PowerApp, Flow and more.

The new release also complies with the latest General Data Protection (GDPR) regulations that apply to data with the European Union.

3.     Accelerating Digital Transformation

“As I talk with business leaders to learn what draws them to Dynamics 365, the answer is almost always the same: they want to digitally transform and believe Microsoft is uniquely capable of helping them succeed on that journey,” states Duncan Nagle of Microsoft.

Nagle goes on to describe how the updates will benefit the functional areas of businesses because of improvements in the digital intelligence infused throughout applications.

4.     Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence will be included in the updates of Dynamics 365, which include a relationship assistant for sales reps that will help them in many areas for more successful relationships. This article concentrates on the improved CRM aspect of the new release.

5.     Outage Escalation

In a blog by Chris Rusing in April 2018, he discusses how the new release will offer a new way to report production outages. Specifically it will allow you to escalate a support issue if the production environment is unavailable.
